Hope for Heather will host “Heather’s Teal Ribbon Walk” on September 27, 2009 at Onondaga Lake Park. The walk will promote ovarian cancer awareness. Registration is 8:00 – 9:00 a.m. and the 5k family fun walk begins at 9:00.
On the registration form, you will have the opportunity to purchase a star to honor a loved one who is battling cancer, or remember a loved one. The stars will be placed along the walk and the donor may take them home at the end of the walk.
