I missed you while I was on vacation.  I drove 700 miles (took almost 12 hours each way) to visit my son in grad school at Indiana University.  I did like Bloomington (a nice college town with great little restaurants and we even ate at an Afghani place, delicious chicken and flavorful rice and vegetable dishes).  Nearby Nashville, Indiana is a neat little artists town, great shops of crafts and is the home of Bluegrass Music.  Yet the rest of Indiana seemed flat and dull!  Gas is around 25 cents less a gallon in Ohio and Indiana than here, but the price of food/grocery items seems much higher there. I think the competition we have between all our Central New York grocery stores is amazing and helps keep our prices down (at least compared to the midwest).  I know this sounds a little corny, but I really missed being on the radio. I love being on the air. Yes, it is good to get away for few day but it is great to be back!

(PS: Thanks Steve, for doing a great job filling in while I was away.)
