Wow!!! Way to go David Cook. He seems like a very genuine, humble and all around likable guy. It was a very entertaining show last night. I loved the Gladys Knight bit with Jack Black, Robert Downey and Ben Stiller playing the Pips…very funny! I guess, if you download the video of that performance on itunes, the proceeds go to charity per the guy’s request.

Well, the first holiday weekend is upon us…the un-official start to the summer of 2008. It’s kind of bittersweet for me this year due to the fact that it is the last weekend that we will be together as a family ’til August, as my wife is about to deploy to Iraq. Keep her and all the members of the 174th Fighter Wing in your thoughts and prayers. Thanks.
